French leadership can't get out of its own way

The visit of the French Foreign Minister, Bernard Kushner, to Iraq has been sharply criticized by the former Socialist minister, Jean-Pierre Chevenement. He denounced the "alignment of France" with American policy that this "totally inopportune" visit reflects.
