Follow up on Syria

Shimon Peres is holding secret talks with Syria. According to analysts in Damascus, cited by the International Herald Tribune, the alleged Israeli incursion into Syrian airspace was intended to cause the secret talks held in Rome by the Israeli president with the Syrian vice-president Farouk a-Shareh and Lebanese Prime Minister Fouad Siniora to fail.
